The Hall Market is now reputedly the largest Hand made, Home grown, Home produced market in Australia. It enjoys an enviable reputation amongst market patrons attracting a wide variety of stallholders from as far away as Victoria and Queensland. The wonderful variety, quality and pricing of goods makes this a must for all those who enjoy markets in a relaxed atmosphere. Hartley Lifecare hold the Hall Market on the first Sunday of the month (January excluded) with support from many volunteers, Rotary and Lions Clubs, the Hall Emergency and Bush Fire Brigade and Scouts. Proceeds from the Market are used by the Society to support Hartley Court and Hartley House, which provide essential supported accommodation services for children and young adults with severe physical disabilities in the ACT. Items available include High Quality Craft, Timber Products, Pottery, Leatherwork, Handknits, Pewter and Silver Jewellery, Children's Toys, Honey, Jam, Chutney, Vinegar, Cakes, Fruit & Vegies, Plants, Puppies, Life Poultry, Worm Farms, Entertainment for all ages, Food and Refreshments. All items must be hand produced, grown or crafted by the stallholders. Up to 500 stalls. Come stroll among the trees, stay for lunch and enjoy the live entertainment & children's activities.
